RoboRally is a board game created by Richard Garfield and published by Wizards of the Coast. Some of my friends in Abbotsford play it fairly regularly, and they've got me hooked - I've since bought myself copies of the basic set, as well as the Armed and Dangerous expansion.

In the game, you are dealt 9 movement cards to create a 5 card program for your robot that turn - moving it past obsticles. Where it gets trickier is that there are other robots which may get in your way and disrupt your program. To make it even more dangerous each robot has a gun, and for each point of damage you take, you are dealt one less movement card. If you want to know more about the game, check out the Wizards of the Coast website which includes a copy of the rulebook from the basic set.

Looking on the web, I've found several sites where people created their own RoboRally boards or new option cards. My favorite of these is Martin & Michael's RoboRally Page even if they don't update it very often. I was inspired, and so I started playing around with making my own boards and cards.
